Washington Mutual Bank CD Rates
The Washington Mutual bank (A.K.A WAMU) as you know it from the commercials, has some slick business model. We will be covering some of their certificate of deposit rates and how they match up with some of the other banks. They have several types of CD’s you can invest in. The traditional CD, online CD, Liquid CD, and retirement CD.
As you will notice it is almost pointless to invest in a CD from 1-12 months. To make it worth it, locking in a longer term will give you the most return.
Below is a rundown if you deposited $1000 dollars for the amount of months invested as of August 5th on a traditional CD.
13 – 17 3.45% 3.51%
18 – 23 3.45% 3.51%
24 – 35 1.49% 1.50%
36 – 47 1.49% 1.50%
48 – 59 4.89% 5.00%
60 – 120 4.89% 5.00%
Wamu Bank has solid core values, and adds up pretty evenly with some of the other comparably sized banks. If you want to compare some other banks just check the related posts below.
