First National Bank Omaha Visa Gift Card
I like what First National Bank of Omaha is offering right now for those that want to give a gift card. Getting a little nifty with letting you choose the design on the Visa Gift card is a great idea. They call it the smartOne Visa Gift Card, and it is a great way to entice new people to sign up for an account. Especially when you get the gift card, you know where its from. Clever indeed.
I went over to check the designs that were available and there was a pretty good variety. The only down side I did see was this little disclaimer I saw on their page at the time of the offer.
*The Gift Card amount will be billed to your credit card or check card with a $5.95 service fee. The smartOne Gift Card is not an FDIC insured deposit.
Other than that though, they have to make money some how. But I think its great for their marketing, and Im sure if you live in the area of a First National Bank of Omaha you might just want to check it out.
